Members of a Community: The residents of Chandler Creek form a community. Each of us has chosen to make a home here. Our Homeowner's Association is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the quality of life that attracted each of us to Chandler Creek in the first place.
Volunteers: Members of the Board of Directors and the Committees, and others voluntarily dedicate a considerable amount of time and energy in promoting the common goals of the community. These volunteers are all willing to fulfill their respective roles and responsibilities and to lend a hand in resolving issues or problems that may be relevant to our community as a whole. All residents are encouraged to volunteer -- every little bit helps. Of course, there are limits on what volunteers can or should be expected to do. Some things we have to do for ourselves.
Not all Problems are HOA Problems: Some items that might, at first glance, appear to be a matter that warrants the attention of the HOA, are actually outside the HOA's scope of authority. For example, the maintenance of street lights, gas lines, water mains, violations of law, and so forth are all matters falling under the jurisdiction and responsibility of the appropriate governmental agency or utility providers. For help in determining the appropriate person or agency to contact for assistance (on a sampling of potential problems or issues), please click on the "Problems and Solutions" item in the drop-down menu.
